This is one of the best bird toys out there. Safe and plenty of fun to rip to shreds. You will have to vacuum after your bird is done. The only problem is that bigger birds will be able to shred it down to nothing in very little time. My sun conure can demolish one in a few hours. Great for long days at work.

I've found a number of bird toys which also provide a lot of fun for my pet chinchilla. The Wesco Pet Mini Bird Kabob is an all-time favorite. The regular bird kabob is bigger and lasts longer. I highly recommend both.

My small Amazon can destroy this in an hour if she feels like it, or it can last for weeks, depending on her mood. We used to let her chew up seed sticks. I switched from seed sticks to this toy because the mess is so much less messy than seeds and it's just as much fun. Shredded yucca fibers beat chunks of sticky coated seeds any day. She never gets tired of this toy, she always runs over to get it whenever I put a fresh one in her cage. This is something we always have to have available for her. It keeps her happy and satisfies her chewing/shredding/nesting urges.
