The Andis UltraEdge AGC 2-Speed Clipper runs at up to 4,400 strokes per minute due to it�s heavy duty, high speed motor. The unit is equipped with a 4 x 4 blade drive for 25% more blade torque. The AGC 2-Speed Clipper is the ultimate grooming tool with it�s power, control, and versatility. The unit features a 14� cord. The unit also features a locking switch button so the unit cannot accidently turn off will being used. The clipper is maintenance free, with no oiling or greasing of internal parts required. The break resistant housing can resist harsh chemicals and day to day use. The clipper comes equipped with an UltraEdge #10 blade and works will all Andis UltraEdge and CeramicEdge blades. The blades are also compatible with most detachable-type clippers and the Oster Model A-5. Designed and engineered in the United States, Andis also offers a complete line of quality clippers and trimmers for consumers and animal grooming as well as a full line of wall mounted hair dryers for the hotel industry. Andis warrants its products to the original purchaser against defective material or workmanship for one years from the date of purchase. All implied warranties are also limited to one year. I have a 60 lb labradoodle and a 12 lb toy poodle who need frequent grooming. Because my big dog is frightened of strangers, taking her to a groomer was too stressful for her. A trainer recomended these clippers as the best thing for me and she was right. I have been grooming both my dogs myself for two years with these clippers and am very pleased. They have actually paid for themselves.
This comes with 1 blade and clipper oil. I recomend if you have a large dog, you get two of each size blade you need, as the plate gets really hot. Also get the Cool Care Plus spray. This way, you take a blade off when it gets too hot, spray it and set it aside and use the other one. It seems expensive, but since one trip to the groomers with both dogs is at least $75 dollars, you will come out ahead in only a few uses.

I recently purchased the Andis animal clipper, and must say it has saved me time in clipping my dog. I'm sure he appreciates it as much as I do. Not only has it reduced the amount of time I spend trimming, but it gives a very clean cut. I would highly recommend it for anyone that trims their dogs coat.

We bought these clippers to trim our long haired German Shepherd Dog. She had a very thick under coat. The clippers worked great. I had no previous training using clippers, so I was a bit nervous about accidentally cutting her. That was never a problem at all. The clippers took a bit of practice to get used to, but once I got the feel of it I was confident. I bought a #7 blade and that's what we used for her heavy coat. I also bought a can of the Andis Cool Care Plus spray. The blade does get hot while clipping, the spray helped to cool it down so we could continue in one session.
The amazing thing about these clippers is that they seem so solidly built. They are not very noisy at all. Actually, my husband and I laugh because these animal clippers are much better than the "human" ones they use on him when he gets a haircut. :)

Hi. I have been through 3 clippers and finally ... finally did my research and bought this professional clipper. I've only had the opportunity to use it one time so far, but it is SO MUCH BETTER than the 3 Oster brand clippers I have used. Yes it does get hot, but I bought the cooler spray and that helps a lot! I gave it 5 Stars. I hope it continues to be a 5 star performer.

The clippers a great! My dogs hair is very thick, matted, and long. These clippers were perfect. They do not get to hot and they cut very quickly.
Best buy for animals with long hair. They will pay for them self after two cuts.
