Feliway (Comfort Zone) spray and diffusers prevent cats from urinating where they shouldn't. This fantastic new pheromone Feliway spray or diffuser duplicates the smell of a cat's natural scent glands. Cats will not soil anything close to where Feliway has been sprayed.Containing the synthetic scent hormone, the plug-in diffuser allows the Feliway scent to permeate throughout the environment. Each plug-in will cover an area of 50 to 70 square metres and lasts approximately four weeks. Alterations in the cat's environment such as visits to the vet, moving house, new arrivals, or nervous cats may manifest themselves as a change in behaviour such as urine marking, scratching, loss of appetite and refusal to play and interact. I just received this product so I can't tell yet how effective it is but I did want to warn potential buyers not to fall for this product based on the refill mention in the title. When something is advertised as 'with refill' I assume there is an initial vial and then an added refill vial. Otherwise why re-fill? 'Re' denotes 'again'. It is THE reason I bought this particular brand over others. I wanted a longer trial period before having to buy a refill. It came with the plug in diffuser apparatus and the initial vial. If you read all the way down the description it is stated 'Contains one electric device and 48ml vial.' This is NOT a refill. I will be sending a note to the seller that they need to change their headline so as not to false advertise...in the meantime please know that this product does not include a REFILL...just the initial product only.

Its been right at a month now that this has been plugged in in the room the litter box is in. No luck with this or Cat Attract. This was recommended by a friend and I was really hoping it would work. Still wake up to 2-3 piles of pee and I usually clean up 1-3 piles during the day. Only good out of this was the tip to clean with rubbing alcohol/water mix. I now mop my whole house that way but I did find out the hard way not to pour directly on stained concrete.

We have two 14 year old fixed females from the same litter and one 5 year old fixed sociopathic female that was introduced into the fray three years ago. The diffuser seems to have helped reduce the hissing and growling.

This product is a waste of money. It definitely puts some pharomones in the air... One of my cat's got super angry and aggressive and one relaxed beyond belief, but the one that had the potty problem still pees where she shouldn't. I wont buy it again.
